James Proud
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
James sets the overall company strategy and product direction.
Angela Chang
Chief Marketing Officer
Angela spearheads all marketing efforts and is responsible for turning Hello into a world-class brand. She was one of the original marketers at Nest and DoorDash where she built and scaled marketing capabilities for both brands. Angela has a double BS degree in Economics and Statistics from University of California, Berkeley.
Bryan Fan
Vice President Hardware
Bryan oversees the hardware engineering and operations of Hello’s products. Prior to Hello, Bryan worked on iPhone production at Foxconn. Bryan graduated with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley.
Ashwin Hira
Chief Business Officer
Ashwin leads business, financial, and legal matters of Hello. Prior to Hello, Ashwin worked at Mubadala Technologies overseeing their investment in GlobalFoundries. Ashwin has an MBA from Wharton, a Masters in Management Studies from University of Bombay, India and a Chemical Engineering degree from University of Pune, India.
Kyrk Jordan
Vice President Sales and Business Development
Kyrk oversees the sales and business development efforts at Hello. Kyrk previously was part of the original Nest sales team where he helped to dramatically expanded Nest's retail presence. Kyrk has a Masters of Economics from Marquette University.
Matthew Walker
Chief Scientist
Matthew helps advance the scientific research and future technologies at Hello. Matthew is Professor of Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is the Director of the Sleep and Neuroimaging Laboratory.
